The guys are back for another episode of the Face-Off Spot Podcast Rundown! This week, Owen and Adam discuss: -Ryan Miller has decided to retire after 18 NHL seasons, racking up 391 wins in 795 games with a 2.64 goals-against average and .914 save percentage.

Owen and Adam look at his incredible career and what Miller meant to both the NHL and USA Hockey. -Cole Caufield, 15th overall pick in the 2019 NHL draft, made his debut and scored his first NHL goal for the Montreal Canadiens this week. The guys look at Caufield’s incredible skill level and how they feel Caufield will fare in the NHL.

The Seattle Kraken completed the NHL’s $650 million expansion fee on Friday to officially become the league’s 32nd franchise. Owen and Adam discuss the Kraken fanbase and if the team will be able to recreate the success that Vegas had in its first season.

The NHL signed a new broadcast rights deal with Turner Sports, resulting in NHL games now being on Turner Network channels such as TNT and TBS. The guys talk about the end of the NHL on NBC and the impact that having Stanley Cup Final games on cable channels will have on fans. -The Islanders are the most recent team to clinch a spot in this season’s playoffs. Owen and Adam discuss the season the Isles are having and include their predictions for who will win each division in the playoffs.
